Two people on horseback are on the viewer’s right; they are almost at the top of a pass. The pass is lower than the hills on either side of it. There is a line of green coniferous trees growing on both sides. Blue mountains are beyond, and above those, a blue/grey sky. On the white border lhc written in longhand is, “High Country, Canada” and on the rhc it is signed in longhand “Middleton”.
