- Description
- This is a pastel drawing of a mountain and lake scene. The drawing can be divided into four main layers of unequal size: Lake, trees, mountains, and sky. The lake occupies the bottom 1/4 of the work and exits the picture at both the LLC and LRC. There is a greater amount of lake in the LLC than the LRC. The next layer is one of pine trees. The trees meet and are reflected in the lake. They reach halfways up the picture. Centered over the trees is a mountain which is occupies the next 1/4 of the piece. The mountain is made up of soft colours such as tan and grey. Above the mountain is a white sky.
