He has no poles in his hands suggesting that he could be ski jumping. Below the man there is three distinct mountains, with clouds behind them, and trees framing the the edges of the drawing. Below the drawing it says “WITH APOLOGIES TO DEBECK”, “Peter White - 1924”, and “Banff WINTER CARNIVAL - FEBRUARY 7-14. 1925 - The Peoples Playground SKI-ING SWIMMING SKATING TOBOGGANING, ETC.” Surrounding the inscription it is bordered with 3mm design: two lines running parallel to each other with circles drawn in the middle.

The man is wearing a dark, presumably black garment, with a small white collar popping through at the neck. His skin is mostly fair, while his nose, lips, and ears are pink in colour. There are a series of small marks in the bottom left corner in varying shades of red, yellow ochre and brown. The bottom edge is unfinished, revealing the marks of the paintbrush over the raw canvas below.
