- Gilbert M. Atkin, 1877-1969, came to Banff in 1905 shortly after completion of postgraduate studies in medicine. He first worked with Dr. Brett and continued to practice medicine in Banff, where he raised his family. During the First World War, Atkin served in the Canadian Army Medical Corps.

Includes a speech re Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire (I.O.D.E.), n.d., delivered at the Chateau Rundel [sic]; report, Whistler Mountain Ski Lift and Chalet, 1954-1955; and architectural drawing of plan and elevation for 94 Banff Avenue, ca.1910, accompanied by note of "additions and corrections".
