- An oil sketch of a mountain landscape and a lake. The primary colours used are blue, green, brown and pink. The top third of the work is blue, with two horizontal sections of cloud that evenly divide the image. The mountains rise from the left and right, and meet low in the centre. The foreground is composed of green sandbars that intersect with the blue of the lake. The artist’s signature is in the brhc in green paint. Au verso, written in black ink in the tlhc, “49-N”.
