Description
Needlepoint wool and linen cushion cover, has not been applied to backing. Repeating design in a gradual diagonal direction, beige background with little geometric men (4 x 2 cm) in brown, each framed by a shape resembling an “L” turned on its side in two shades of brown with yellow, red and orange triangles on base. Each sideways "L" is four stitches higher than the one on its left thus creating a diagonal movement. Three geometric shapes, 3 stacked "V"s, snowflake, and a diamond respectively, are used alternatingly on each side of the human figure, each in one of three shades of brown. A white cotton border (.6cm. wide) is stitched with brown yarn to three edges of the 3.5cm. burlap border, the top edge is on the selvage.
