The case is complete with six three-cornered stainless steel curved needles that are graduated in size, four flat needles graduated in size, and eight three-cornered needles curved at the tip in varying sizes. The needles are stuck through a padded band of the velvet lining.

Description
A rectangular wooden box, lined with green satin and velvet, fitted inside a sturdy wickerwork basket. There is a hinged leather covered padded lid with a leather flap and a metal clasp which fastens into a plate on the front of the basket. The lid has elastic strap loops to organize contents, and a small elasticised open pocket of green satin at each of front corner of the box. The box contains sewing kit 104.45.0008 and 104.45.0009 which includes various sewing tools, needles, thread, small pieces of fabric, measuring tapes, buttons (some with ornate designs), paper patterns, sequins, a small plastic magnifying glass, a thimble, a length of ribbon embroidered with “P.M” in script, a pocket knife with mother of pearl handle (103.08.0209b) and two cowhide and leather luggage tags which read “Pearl B. Moore Banff Canada”.
