Description: A collection of five black felt university caps with cotton linings and embroidery work. Each hat bears a different design: 103.04.0033a - the word “Varuna” beneath a “V” behind the face of an old man (Poseidon?) with forks extending diagonally upward from behind his head; 103.04.0033b - the letters “TPT” with the P in the centre larger than the other two letters, and inside “CU Gulick”; 103.04.0033c - the word “Naraka” beneath a bust of a devil with horns and a pointed tail, with forks extending diagonally upward from behind the devil’s body, and inside “CU Gulick & W.B. Description: A round silver medal hanging by two chains, each with three links, from a bar depicting a charging buffalo. The medal depicts a seated woman placing a laurel wreath on the head of a genuflecting youth, and the words “Canadian Amateur Athletic Union” along with a date in roman numerals “MDCCCXXXIII”. There is a low relief wreath of maple leaves on the back of the medal along with an inscription “2nd Pole Vault Winnipeg 1909”. The reverse of the medal also has hallmarks and “S25 Sterling”.

(a) pin, die pressed, star shaped, patinaed dull brass. Small writing above flag is difficult to make out "Ro 147141?" Ring soldered to each side of concave back to hold cotter pin, missing . (b) button, bright brass, domed with symbol at centre, and raised rim around edge. Hollow with flat back and ring shank soldered at centre.
