- Two tanned, flat open river otter pelts: a) A short thick glossy brown fur becoming very light and silvery on the sides of the head (throat) with a long dark tail with a thick base. There are several small holes in the head (eyes, ears, etc). The fur is marked with “UU.NN $65.00” on the head, “A.H. &S. Ltd - Montreal - Can” stamped inside an ovel on the body, and with “UN,” “WM” and “32” perforated at the tail.b) A short thick glossy brown fur becoming silvery at the edges (belly and throat) with a long thick tail. There are many small holes in the head (eyes, ears, etc). The fur is marked “EI BN --66” on the head with “EB” and other illegible initials perforated at the tail.
