N. Porter custom built western saddle and woven saddle pad. California oak tanned skins. Inscription handwritten in ink under second skirt "Made specially by hand for Andy Russell February 1947." Weighs 40 pounds. Saddle is completely tooled except for saddle seat. Stamped on seat round logo with head of long horn cattle and Phoenix Arizona. Stamped below that is "Genuine Shelton". Large flat horn has rubber and rope fragments tied around the horn. Tooled saddle bags. Saddle is complete with wood and metal stirrups, belly strap, girth etc. Hand made wool saddle pad in white, yellow, orange and brown.
