Description
a) Kayak in ivory: Pattern of incised and stained circles on top of kayak, four holes without patterning on the prow of the kayak are drilled through the piece. Two of the same circular patterns, incised and stained, appear on the base of the prow of the kayak which is convex. Figure in ivory is attached to kayak at base. Face is incised and stained, back of figure has carved fringed coat details. Raised hand is fitted to hold spear (?) which is missing. b) Ivory paddle is 7 x .3 cm drilled at centre and at end where line is attached. c) Seal on line is in steatite, line tied to neck, line appears to be twisted string.
