Printed on the front cover is “The Beverly Spiral Sketch Book, (Rough Surface), For Pencil, Watercolors, Crayon and Ink, M” in dark brown. Sketches feature Christmas card ideas, figure studies, teepee interiors, rows of teepees with people in front/around them, animals, a house [done in watercolour paints, possibly by a child named Ian], and the funeral of Chief David Bearspaw, 1956. Some pages appear to have been torn from other sketchbooks and inserted in this one - there are also smaller papers of sketches folded up and tucked between the pages.
