Description
A Japanese sketchbook with ecru-coloured brocade covers, no spine, with folding pages designed accordion-style, but made in such a way pages are double-backed and are two pages wide so that it is possible to paint or sketch on both sides. It contains various sketches and paintings done in pencil, ink and watercolours. On the front cover, viewer’s left, there is a glued piece of off-white paper 10.4x2.0cm wide, and on the back inside cover, viewer’s left there is a chop mark (1.0x0.50cm wide) in ochre ink.
