- A print reproduction of a pastel drawing. Dominating the drawing is an older man. The man has tan skin and long black hair that is tied in two braids. He is looking off to the viewer’s right. There are feathers in the man’s hair, three on the left and one large feather extending out of frame on the right. He is wearing a beaded necklace that is white, green and red. The background is white, green and brown. The artist signature is written in red in the bottom left corner and also written on the print in blue ink in the bottom rhc, “N de Grandmaison Canada 1972.” There is a small black ink copyright symbol in the bottom rhc. Underneath the image along the bottom edge on the left in black ink, “Lithographed in Canada” and along the right, “Copyrighted by N. deGrandmaison in Canada and United States and published by The Last Arrow Ltd.” At centre under the image in black print is the title, “Blackfoot Brave”. Au verso, in grey print in the brhc, “This print is No. “Y’ - 977 of a limited edition”.
