Description
A model of a horse (not completed), made of moulding clay, on a wood base. The rust-coloured, hardened clay is fashioned around metal wires and attached by a large screw to a vertically placed piece of wood that is screwed onto the base. The model is illustrating the process; only one leg (back left leg) is completely covered with clay to attach it to the wood base.

Three identical plaster models of a horse (28.0 highx38.0cm wide head to tail)packed with diamond hitch; on right rump: “JF” combined and “barX6”; on right shoulder “circle over bar” made from a mold, a metal mold with sprues, a bronze ingot, three examples of the process and wax showing the process of lost wax process:(a) a plaster horse with a primer (rust coloured) painted on, marked with black felt pen on bottom of base “A”;(b) a plaster horse with a coat of white paint, marked with black felt pen on bottom of base “B”;(c) a plaster horse with a coat of brown paint, marked with black felt pen on bottom of base “C”.(d) a metal mold (45.0 highx38.0cm wide head to tail) with sprues and gates (the channels through which the molten bronze will travel to the artwork) to create the final bronze piece of artwork. It has a piece of masking tape on the bottom with “#1” written on in black felt pen.(e) a bronze ingot ( 5.0X6.0cm wide) that would be used in the bronze sculpture creation process(f) a piece of clay and plaster (3.5x5.5cm wide) made to show part of the the bronze sculpture creation process(g) a piece of clay and plaster (11.6x4.2cm wide) made to show part of the the bronze sculpture creation process(h) a piece of clay, plaster and metal ((11.0x3.5cm wide) made to show part of the the bronze sculpture creation process(i) pieces of wax (18.0.0x2.0cm wide) to show part of the the bronze sculpture casting process
