- A set of 11 ceramic dishes made of ivory glazed clay with painted on patterns of fruit. Set includes: a,b) straight sided lidded pitchers (18.5 cm x 14.0 cm x 8.5 cm). Pitchers have handles that run nearly the entire height and large pouring spouts. Each pitcher has a painted design of an orange and blueberries on one side, cherries on the other, and an orange and cherries on the lid. The handles have a leaf pattern at the top and a straight line down the length. The lids are shaped so that they “lock” in place when turned sideways. c) lidded bowl (7.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 11.5 cm). Short, straight sided lidded bowl with painted pattern of oranges, blueberries, and cherries around the exterior and again on lid. Lid fits into lip of bowl. d) lidded bowl (10.5 cm x 11.0 cm x 11.0 cm). Taller lidded bowl with sides that curve inward to a smaller foot. Same painted pattern as c. Lid rests loosely on top of bowl. e-g) nesting bowls. Three bowls with pattern of painted oranges, apples, blueberries underneath a black strip around rim. Largest bowl (e) (10.5 cm x 11.0 cm x 11.0 cm) has a loosely fitted lid with a pattern that matches lid of d. Bowls f (6.0 cm x 9.9 cm x 9.9 cm) and g (5.0 cm x 9.0 cm x 9.0 cm) fit inside each other and go inside e. h) bowl (4.5 cm x 7.2 cm x 7.2 cm) with painted pattern of oranges, blueberries, and cherries on exterior (same as c) and orange inside. i) pitcher (7.5 cm x 8.5 cm x 7.5 cm) with same pattern as a and b. Much smaller spout and handle. j,k) sugar bowls (7.5 cm x 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm). Straight sided sugar bowls that curve inward to a smaller foot. Each has a lid with a small notch for a spoon. J has same pattern as a-d while K has same pattern as e-g. On the base of each piece is a brown stamp that reads “ADAMS” “ROYAL IVORY ENGLAND” “TITIAN WARE”
