Other topics include the trip to New York before setting sail and meeting the Moores, Georgia Engelhard, and visiting Carl Rungius' studio, people in Concord, details about the ship to Nassau, the hotels, the landscape, and meeting and staying with various people in Jamaica [including Elaine Strong, Edward Moseley, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Soloman, Sydney Farington, Dr. Graham Bruce, Sybil Burnside, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Ely, Olive Michener, and Fred Armbrister], and various Indigenous portraits of Peter's getting special notice [one from the American Foundation of the Arts].

- Please note: language pertaining to Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, and those of the Jewish faith used throughout is outdated and offensive. Some items were stapled together and therefore scanned together as one document. Included is one typewritten transcript of a handwritten letter with content that has been edited. Letters are all handwritten and include some hotel and steamship letterheads. Some letters are marked with a small x in pencil, indicating where Jon Whyte made notes for use in his project "Catharine Robb Whyte, Peter Whyte: Commemorative Portfolio," originally published in 1981. Some letters also have numbers written in pencil crayon, believed to be from when originally processed.

Other topics include Concord news, the birth of Barbara and Cliff White's baby, attending the World Fair in Chicago, Catharine's travels by train from New York to California [including the views and people she meets], sailing on the S.S. Lurline from San Francisco to Honolulu with Hollywood movie stars [Claudette Colbert, Mary Boland and director Cecil de Mille] on board heading to Hawaii to make a film [entitled Four Frightened People released in 1934?], arriving in Honolulu, Peter and Catharine painting at various locations, describing people, food, weather and locations in Honolulu and Honolai and Kauai, meeting various people, and having Christmas in Hawaii.

- Please note: language pertaining to Indigenous Peoples, people of colour, and those of the Jewish faith used throughout is outdated and offensive. Some items were stapled together and therefore scanned together as one document. Included are 7 postcards and two magazine clippings. Letters are all handwritten and include some hotel and transportation letterheads. Some letters are marked with a small x in pencil, indicating where Jon Whyte made notes for use in his project "Catharine Robb Whyte, Peter Whyte: Commemorative Portfolio," originally published in 1981. Some letters also have numbers written in pencil crayon, believed to be from when originally processed. Some letters also have dates written in pencil of when the were received by Edith Morse Robb [?]. Letter 21 looks disjointed due to repeated page numbers and some blank space but these were stapled together so these pages were kept in this order to respect the archival record.

- File consists of 43 photograph prints pertaining to sailing, rowing, canoeing and model ships. LUX/I/E4/PA-72 to 85 depict unnamed individuals in boats and canoes, as well as river and lake scenes [ca.1900-1910]; LUX/I/E4/PA-86 to 114 depict model ships and scenes from a trip to Newfoundland, including images of Ernest Maunder and "Commander Grahame". Numerous photographs are annotated on the back by Ernest Maunder with details including dates and locations of photographs, names, and dimensions of model ships. File also contains scanned copy of letter dated December 7, 1932 from Ernest Maunder to Norman Luxton pertaining to his ship modelling hobby and planned work on a model ship requested by Norman [possibly referring to photograph LUX/I/E4/PA-96].
