- Heavy, short skis, with metal toe plate and bindings. They become thicker at the beautifully curved tip. Metal edging is screwed on, holes going in through the skis below the bindings. The binding is "ATTENHOFFER'S ALPINA".

- History / Biographical
- Jimmy Simpson Sr. was a backpacker and outfitter in the Banff / Rocky Mountains region. He built the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge near Bow Lake which him and his wife Williamina ran from 1920 - 1945, and led many hunting and climbing expeditions in the area. Jimmy and Williamina had three children: Jimmy Simpson Jr. (who took over the Lodge in 1945), and daughters Margaret and Mary Simpson who became famous as professional ice skaters, the 'Simpson Sisters' in the late 1930's.

- File consists of 41 photographic prints (32 b&w and 9 colour).
