Description
A pair of green nylon pants with off-white corded cotton braces attached to the back of the waistband by grommets. The fly has five buttonholes and (grommeted) metal buttons for opening and closing. There are two front side slit pockets with a flap and plastic buttons with two slits through which a piece of nylon is looped through and sewn down. Below these pockets there are two front pockets T with a flap and plastic buttons with two slits through which a piece of nylon is looped through and sewn down. he cuffs have a flap with a slit and a metal button (grommeted) for tightening. There is a white manufacturer’s label below the waistband with black lettering “CANADIAN CONVERTERS CO. LTD. MONTREAL 1952 LARGE”.

Description
A collection of four pairs of ski pants. (a) navy blue stretch with underfoot straps, 101.0 x 38.5, close fitting with tapered legs and strap passing under arch, zippered fly front, and slash change pocket at waistband on front right side. Slash made in seam on inside at ankle. Bottom edges of leg and strap finished with black cloth tape and braid. Waistband lined with satin and woven rubber band reading, "Feller - Austria", repeated. Waistband fastens with double hook and eye. (b) navy blue stretch with doubled leg from knee to ankle, 96.0 x 42.0, close fitting with straight legs which have a second, fitted leg underneath from the knee down which includes a strap for passing beneath the arch, seam around the knee. Curved, fitted, waistband closes above zippered fly with two metal dome snaps and a heavy hook and eye. Crotch is lined with a small piece of satin material. Loop across back seam allowance at waist for hanging up. (c) grey nylon waist to ankle length, 99.0 x 38.0, "18/sh", size 18, short length, straight legs with zipped fly front, stitched in creases down legs. Heavy grey plastic zippers on back of each leg from knee to bottom zip up the bottom, and diagonal slash pockets on either side of front close with similar zippers. Imitation leather patch of black at back hem of each leg, waistband closes with single metal dome snap, and is elasticized in back. Lined with tricot backed urethane foam fabric. 24.0 cm inside seam cuffed knee is elasticized once around the middle and again at the bottom of the cuff. (d) blue nylon shoulder to ankle length, 141.0 x 45.5, straight legs, with back and front bib and shoulder straps. Front closes with 38.0 cm slipper from top of bib with metal dome snap at top, figure eight logo. Stitched creases down front of each leg, front bib attached to pants at waist, back bib one continuous piece with the back and made of cotton fabric at the top where it joins wide nylon, elasticized straps which adjust by means of metal dome snaps to front bib. Lined with tricot backed polyester. Nylon snow cuffs on inside of pants at ankles. Pants have been hemmed about 9.0 cm with loose basting of a contrasting colour thread.

Waistband has tab which buttons over top of heavy side zipper, "RI RI". Waistband lining, pockets and crotch lining of twill fabric. (b) grey twill, men's, with button fly front, "for gentlemen". A buttoned flap watch pocket at the waist, vertical slash pockets each side of front with buttoned flaps from back to front, a buttoned flap pocket on the right back hip, button missing, large belt loops, and short adjustable belt tab on each side of hip at back. Pleated at front waist, with baggy legs which buckle at ankles, lined at waist, pocket and fly with sturdy fabric.

Four pairs of ski pants of wool serge with vertical slash pockets which zip at the front. Loose fitting legs which taper slightly at the ankle and have wide elastic straps for under foot. Waistbands lined with cotton, eye closure at waist, "Trade Mark" and crown logo. Double pleats at each side of the front and 3.0 cm belt loops around. Zippered welt pocket at back right hip, and pocket on each side of front. A small black metal loop sewn into pants 2.5 cm below waistband on each side of back. Cloth loop for hanging up sewn inside waistband at back centre. (b ) navy blue with single pocket, 99.0 x 36.6, woman's with side zipper opening. Double pleats on each side of front. Single pocket on right front has small loop pull tab. Four 9.0 cm wide belt loops. 9.5 cm slit at outside bottom of each leg. Double foot straps on each leg cross over each other. Zipper placket facing fastens with two buttons to inside waistband which is lined with blue and white striped fabric. Hem bound with black twill tape. (c) blue black with gold coloured zippers, 103.0 x 39.0, woman's with side zipper opening and small tab which buttons over top. Single pleats at front. Two front pockets have small gold coloured diamond shaped pull tabs at the end of a short chain. No waistband, but four 5.0 cm belt loops, bottoms of legs slightly saddle shaped into wide foot straps. Inner waistband of heavy twill tape with three wide bands of elastic stitching . Snugtex . (d) dull black, 99.0 x 36.5, woman's, with side zipper opening having two buttons inside waistband which fasten to zipper facing. Double pleats at front. Two front pockets zip with small ring tabs at the end of short chains. Four 8.0 cm wide belt loops plus a narrower one to centre back. Bottoms of legs have 10.0 cm pleat opening. Twill tape bound edges, and under foot strap which is doubled on outside to attach to each side of pleat opening. Inner waistband of satiny cotton. Marks, on right pocket, "24 61889".(b) On waistband inside by zipper, "9 1991", and on right pocket many numbers with "8 12608" most prominent tag "8689" (removed). (c)Label, The Country Store, bull's head logo, Concord, Mass____Sarasota Edgartown Nantucket". (d) Numbers stamped on pockets, paper ski lift ticket attached to one pocket rings, "Mt. Norquay Ski Area Banff, Alberta, logo of rhombus containing line drawing of mountains and sun, 1941, in red, Exchange" is blue and stamped "1/4" and 3/4" with printed Notice on reverse about transferability of ticket.
