(a) a palmate fan postcard, brown handled, image of Japanese woman bearing umbrella on face, obverse has place for message and address and stamp, foil bordered. (b) a polygon fan postcard with natural wood handle, one side of which shows speckling, image of elaborately coifed Japanese woman on face, inscription in calligraphy beside her combs. Obverse face provides space for address, message, and stamp. (c) a palmate fan, with black painted handle, image of two figures running from rainstorm on face, obverse with foil speckles. All three card fans have ribs scored in them.

- A folded, green blue, gold embossed, Moroccan leather wallet. Folds in thirds with snap beneath top flap to hold closed. Embossing on each outside panel forms narrow gold frame enclosing the panel with small floral motif in each corner. Inside has long pocket for bills at back, coin pocket in middle section snaps with triangular flap. Side sections contain card slots. All pockets lined with blue fabric. Coin pocket snap covered with leather. Very soft leather is top stitched all around. On snaps "ABR made in France".

Front full pocket expands by folded gussets at the sides, is lined with aqua fabric, and covered with full flap which fastens by means of red and gold enamelled ivory clip which hooks around thread loop on front of purse. Back compartment is laced with red thread at the sides to expand, and holds a pad of folded paper squares which is held together by two paper "staples", and fits the compartment very tightly. (b) wooden box, plain, rectangular, lightweight. Box lid fits over small lip on bottom. Red, round paper label at middle top of box with East-Asian writing, product label ? stamped on one side with round, purple stamp mark.
