- Small round deep-sided decorative ceramic dish with blue and gilded gold stripes around the rim and a picture of a portly bald man wearing purple pants and a green coat with one hand raised in a room with a table, chairs, and windows behind him - printed at the bottom is “MR PICKWICK” and “BANFF” has been written above that in gold ink. A makers mark is stamped on the bottom - online research shows this image was a popular motif with Grimwades in the mid-1900s as Mr Pickwick was the main character of Charles Dickens’ first novel, “The Pickwick Papers.”

- Two heavy, large, silver hoop earrings with large teardrop-shaped turquoise stone in heavy silver setting attached at one side. Stones set in heavy silver teardrop shaped setting with double row of gadrooning at bottom supporting a series of small silver balls heaped on top around the stone (a) larger stone setting has four larger silver balls at point of teardrop, silver stopping ring at one end of hoop. 15.5 cm leather thong attached to hoop beneath setting.( b) smaller, texture worn on hoop. Back compartment is laced with red thread at the sides to expand, and holds a pad of folded paper squares which is held together by two paper "staples", and fits the compartment very tightly. (b) wooden box, plain, rectangular, lightweight. Box lid fits over small lip on bottom. Red, round paper label at middle top of box with East-Asian writing, product label ? stamped on one side with round, purple stamp mark.
