Inside of locket recessed with flat gold ring around edge which snaps in over celluloid to hold in place, one side contains lock of yellow-white hair under celluloid. Celluloid missing from other side. Marks: scratched into empty side, "42"(?) (b) photo on front,gold filled, with cast wreath around hand tinted photo of a street in "West Port, Newburgh" covered with celluloid. Inside recessed with rings as above, each side holding another photo scene identified as "Lindores, Newburgh" and "The Schools, Newburgh". Inner rings of copper back cast with scrolled feather design flowing around one side. Large hinge on bottom. Lip around one frame inside, fits into recess on other side to latch when closed.
