Front of medallion has a relief of two people in western dress on bull and horseback with “CALGARY STAMPEDE” above and “1966” below. Back of medallion partly obscured by mounting hardware bust what is visible reads “SOUVENIR DOLLAR CALGARY ALBERTA CANADA THE STAMPEDE CITY”.

Coin pocket snap covered with leather. Very soft leather is top stitched all around. On snaps "ABR made in France".
