Description
A seated buddha with his feet in a lotus position at the centre of a lotus blossom. His right hand rests palm up in his lap and the left is raised in a blessing (or teaching position). The carved figurine is wood with simple features, large ears, and draped robes. The figurine is painted a saffron gold colour with red and black features and black hair with carved and red painted dot at front centre of hair. The figurine is loosely attached to a simply carved brown wood base of leaves curling downward with dowel through base of the buddha. There are Chinese letters on the base of the stand and “1.50” along with a paper sticker that reads “China:.

Description
An elongated tall thin simple figure carved from a single piece of wood which is half light and half dark. The figure has one hand at the waist holding a wooden spear through a hole drilled in its fist. The other hand is clasped at the chest holding the broken remains of another spear. The figure is wearing a short skirt,a tall flat headdress with three incised vertical grid-like bands and has large pierced earlobes and very simply carved facial features. There is a tall wire silver coloured collar that is wrapped around the figurine’s long neck. The figure is standing on a low circular base made of a different type of wood.

Description
A relief carving on the surface of a hollow tube-shaped piece of bone(?). The carving is of a female figure with a large pierced fanned headdress and wings at her hips kneeling on the back of a large bird with sharp talons, beak, and large textured wings at either side. The carving is deeply incised and pierced through to the hollow centre in places. The carving is attached to a stepped wooden base by fitting it over a shaped piece at the top and with one nail at the front and one nail at the back.

Pennant (a) is green felt , triangular with 2 small red triangles attached at wide end. Appliqued sign post with signs reading: “LAKE LOUISE”, “CANADIAN ROCKIES”, “ MT. TEMPLE CHALET” “PTARMIGAN VALLEY”, “HALF WAY HUT”, “BAKER LAKE”, “SKOKI LODGE”, in red, yellow and white felt. A small rectangular piece of orange felt on bottom of sign post. Green and white paper manufacture’s tag on reverse. Pennant (b) is smaller than pennant (a) measuring, 14.5 cm by 48.0 cm. It is made of gold felt with a stamped on illustration of a pine marten and the words “NUM-TI-JAH LODGE BOW LAKE ALBERTA” in dark brown. Four small felt srtips attached to wide end. Stamp on back reads “LOCALLY MADE AT LAKE LOUISE”
