- A woman's bathing outfit consisting of a one piece bathing suit and matching, covering shirt, both of light brown simulated bark texture cotton with bold black rectangles with red and white geometric designs inside, spaced evenly around the fabric. (a) swimsuit, wide legged shorts with fitted bodice having elasticized panel on each side and zipper down the back. Neck strap threads through small loop at front centre and is removable, two long loops on inside of each side, for hanging. Fully lined with white cotton, and cotton bloomers, very faded. Label: “The Lahala / Made in Honolulu/ Waikiki/ The Liberty House” (b) shirt, sleeveless with small stand up collar and coconut husk buttons down the front, small stand up collar and coconut husk buttons down the front, small slits at each side, and large pockets at the bottom.
