Interior white fish shape contains human profile with yellow eye - fish eye also; note foot, spear and bearpaw snowshoe; fish is inside large black animal - bear?; yellow arc upper left of painting represents bow being strung; blue represents streams and lakes and rust earth; small amount of red symbolizes blood of animal - this explanation was given to Catharine and Jon Whyte when Muskego was visiting them in Banff.
