The work is on home made paper which has uneven edges and surface. Snow capped mountain range in background, the right of the picture has 4 sheep heads, 2 of which are indicated by horns only, they are facing to the left, another sheep head is frontal view facing them. A large light brown tea cauldron is on the left, a bouquet of flowers, yellow and pink, are bunched together in a teacup between the sheep and the tea cauldron.

The teapot has a short spout and a top handle woven from straw that attaches to ceramic loops on either side of the lid - though one has broken off. The lid has an unglazed interior with a small protrusion to lock it in place. There is a small hole on top of the lid that suggests a knob or handle was there but has broken off. “Robinson” is inscribed on the base.
