Description
A child's primitive saddle made from rawhide tightly stretched across a wooden frame with pointed arches at front and back covered with rawhide. Horsehide flaps under the frame extend slightly down each side. The wooden stirrups are covered with horsehide, and hang from the saddle frame by looped strips of leather. A cinch is attached to the frame by a series of leather strips with a bellyband of rawhide. The saddle is decorated with red paint along the back arch and at the ends.
