- Bill Waterworth (1922-2009) was born on Marten Street in Mrs. Thomson's nursing home in Banff. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force at the age of 18. On September 19, 1942, Waterworth was shot down over the French coast just short of completing his 33rd mission. Waterworth avoided capture by German patrols for two weeks before being captured and taken prisoner by the Gestapo. He was sent by boxcar to a Prisoner of War camp - Stalag VIIIB/344 - in Lamsdorf, Germany where he remained for three years.
- In 1946, Bill married Bernice "Bern" Wilson (d. 2003), who was a granddaughter of Tom Wilson. Together they had three children, Lynn, Bunty, and Christie.

- Fonds includes a framed collage, 2 photograph albums, 1 loan for copy scrapbook, and miscellaneous certificates and other ephemera. Photograph album belonging to Bill Waterworth pertains to aviation training in Calgary, family, friends, and Boy Scout trips and photograph album created by Bernice "Bern" Waterworth (nee Wilson) consists of friends, family, and activities such as skiing and canoeing. The digitized scrapbook is titled "A Wartime Log : A Remembrance from Home Through the Canadian Y.M.C.A.", and pertains to Bill Waterworth's experience as a POW. The original Wartime Log was digitized in 2009, and the original returned to the family.

- File consists of one scrapbook containing two unidentified portraits of men and one family photograph, as well as collected correspondence, newspaper clippings and other documents. Content mostly pertains to the deaths of James Frederick Morden, Robert John Kerr and Ovide Smith of Pincher Creek, Alberta while fighting in Honing Spruit, South Africa in 1900 during the Boer War. Contents include condolence letters sent to James Morden's wife, as well as various related newspaper articles and a booklet commemorating the erection of a plaque at Pincher Creek Memorial Hospital in 1902 in their honour. Scrapbook contents also include other obituary articles commemorating James Frederick Morden's father and mother, Albert Milton Morden and Sarah Morden; and Adelaide Maud Hewetson of Pincher Creek.

- Harold Malloch Luxton [1884-1915] was the youngest child of parents Sarah Jane Luxton and William Fisher Luxton. Harold served as a member of the Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment, 31st Battalion) during World War I, and was killed in action on December 18, 1915 at the age of 31. Harold is buried at the Kemmel Chateau Military Cemetery in Belgium.

F. 18PR V F. C. F. 4-4-16,” and a wider gold-coloured base that has a small silver plaque that has the inscription “THE SHRAPNEL STAND COLONIAL FIXTURES LTD. REGISTERED 1915.”Souvenirs made from spent artillery shells were common during World War I. Objects such as boxes/cases, candle holders, simple toys, plates, cups, and more were prevalent due to the simple modifications to the ammunition that were needed.
