Description
A pair of long bayonets with ridged brass handles and steel scabbards. (a,b) bayonets, long narrow steel blade with slight reverse curve, set into solid brass handle with ridges around the handgrip. Deep wide groove along length either side of blade. Sword guard like crossbar of a 'T' of steel curling down on under side, with circular hole on upper side to accommodate barrel of rifle. Slot on upper side of handle along length to slide barrel in and support bayonet. Marks: (a) engraved atop blade, "Culle Fevrier 1872", serial no., "T60071" (b) engraved atop blade, "Lt. Etienne Juin 1871", serial no., "L78693". Scabbards, steel, formed to fit the shape of the blades, with round knob at tip and small square loop of steel for belt soldered near mouth of each. Marks: near mouth opposite loop, serial no. "X77249", near mouth opposite loop, serial no. "S5181", and "*" and "F".

Description
A bayonet with wooden handle and metal scabbard which has large swinging arm at mouth. (a) bayonet, single edged, straight steel blade with wide groove down length of side. Straight guard crossing between handle and blade like the crossbar of a 'T' is of steel and has 1.7 cm hole through top side to accommodate barrel of rifle. Smooth, slightly shaped wood handle with large steel rivets through, has wide steel band at end with pommel on underside and mounting slot along top side. Marks: stamped on blade near hilt, "1898" other side "US". Note: pieces of wood chipped from both sides of handle, rusty.( b) scabbard, steel, simply shaped to fit blade with small ball at point. Long metal strap riveted at mouth of scabbard forms loop and swivels.

Description
A club with swinging head. Handle from branch of tree with bark stripped off and wrapped with wide band of buckskin at end which is tightly sewn on. Bulbous mushroom shaped stone clubhead attached with buckskin thong around middle tied to end of strong cord of twisted buckskin, 12 cm long, which is secured to top of handle by narrow buckskin thongs tightly wrapped over it. Two feathers attached at this end of handle.
