(p) 7. x 3. tall cylindrical basket with tall loop handle, wide band of coils at centre have been worked in more open weaving by knotting around each stitch between the coils. (q) 4.5 x 5. shallow flared bowl with handle with coils stitched together and wrapped, looped rim. 2 twined baskets with imbricated design. (r) 9.5 x 5. simply twined bucket with tall loop handle, natural colour with red and purple parallelograms worked in two bands and green band at rim, braided handle. (s) 4.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 very tiny oblong basket with braided string handle, Makah "bird-cage" stitch,natural colour with finely worked U.S. flag and "V" on one side, (red & blue . 3 very delicate baskets with hair like ribs and horsehair ? weft. (t) 1.5 x 4.5 straight sided open basket with translucent hair weft and two thin red bands, ribs form loops at rim each wrapped with a coil of hair like black fibre. (u) 2.5 x 3.5 small flared basket with small base and twisted handle, translucent hair weft alternating with red bands. (v) 2. x 2.5 as (u) but brown bands. 3 odd baskets. (w) 5.5 x 6.5 East-Asian type basket with extra exterior ribs added forming square base, diagonal weft at bottom over flat ribs with band of closely woven wicker type weft at top and wooden rings supporting round opening at top. (x) 5. x 5. shallow round bottomed basket with sturdy handle, rib structure radiates fan like from the bottoms of the handle to form the basket with the weft running from side to side across, rather than around, sturdy hoop at rim fastened at right angles to hoop forming handle.(y) 9.5 x 7.5 x 4. tall oblong basket with loop handle on either side , openwork sides bound together with three rows of twined stitching, band at base and top thickly closely twined.
