Dimensions: 2.9 x 26.0 cm

Description: A black elasticized headband, only the back half being elasticized. The pattern half of the headband seems to be a simple warp of hemp in tabby array, the cross lattices being wound in bright mercerized cotton at each line, the resulting pattern looking very like beadwork, the pattern being squared off, consisting of red chevrons with white crowns radiating from the centre yellow-gold butterfly.

Description: Off white hand woven jacket with blue & green trim and two pockets. Jacket in diagonal twill weave, constructed from two straight 23 cm. wide panels for front and back with no shoulder seams. Sleeves are tapered at bottom, through were made from a 23 cm. wide panel and sewn with a straight seam onto sides. Trim, probably woven on a belt loom, is 5 cm. wide, sewn onto sleeve bottom, pocket edges and around front opening and collar. Three 5 cm. panels have been sewn together for center back.

Description: Multi coloured middle Eastern tapestry in white, blues and browns. Warp runs width wise and appears to be made from animal hair rather than sheep's wool. Most of the warp ends, or fringe, have become untwisted. Tapestry has a woven patch 5.5 x 4.5 cm. on length wise edge, although technique and pattern are the same as tapestry, the colours used are distinctly different, grey, pink and green. The patch appears to be sewn on top of original work as there is no sign of it on the back side. Stitching has become fragile with age, one corner is severely frayed, stitching between warp threads has broken in several spots on the two width wise ends.
