Boxed off is a study of balance. There are six separate drawings to emphasis balance in architecture, specifically windows. Each one has a number and their style written below: “II ITALIAN BROCADES”, “V MARBLE INLAID”, “IV ITALIAN BROCADES”, “III FRENCH GOTHIC”, “VIII HARP LUTE”, and “VIII ENGLISH GUITAR”. In the TRC “EB B-”, and it is signed by Peter near the BRC.

Two sketches for Christmas cards on the top half of the page. The larger of the two is a group of animals in a nondescript room, each doing something a different at there own tables. The smaller of the two drawings is the same scene repeated, however there is an additional animal that appears to be looking out a window. verso: in the BLC there are two postage stamps, one 2 cent Jefferson stamp and a 4 cent Lincoln stamp. On top of them there is a black ink stamped on top. In the BRC is says “The Junior League of Boston, Inc. 117 NEWBERRY STREET, BOSTON 16, MASSACHUSETTS”. Near the middle is says “MRS.
