After going to local authorities to initiate a search, the mystery deepens when a strange woman shows up claiming to be his wife. Participants were towed up the hill with a rope tow operated by a tractor. The Meets were eventually phased out following the openin of the (then named) West Castle Mountain Ski Hill in 1965.
