A husband loses his wife during their honeymoon at a U.S. Rocky Mountain resort town. After going to local authorities to initiate a search, the mystery deepens when a strange woman shows up claiming to be his wife. Location filming primarily around the Banff townsite, including the Banff Park Lodge, CIBC, various private residences on Buffalo Street, and Banff Avenue.

Scope & Content: Item consists of one 16 mm motion picture titled "Charge of the Snow Brigade" by Gerald Potterton of Potterton Productions Inc. Potterton was the Writer, Producer, and Director. Bruno Engler served as a Special Advisor for the project. Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.
