One end of the probe has a lighter silver knob with tap near it. The other end has a brass-coloured metal end. The orange leather pouch features text along the middle on one side which reads “Lindenmann Lawinen-Sonde” and text at the top of the pouch which reads “SCOTT” in handwriting.

- A serigraph print of landscape with pale blue mat. Landscape of Lake Louise in the wintertime. In background there is a mountain range with Victoria Glacier. Below mountains is a snow-covered Lake Louise. In the foreground there are two small pine trees both covered with snow. One is far left and the other far right with a snow-covered bush beside it. there are tracks on the snow. The print is comprised of seven colours, a palette of soft blue, white, green and brown/yellow. Across the bottom is an artist inscription and title of the work. The artist signature is in the bottom right corner. Au verso there are two large labels. The one on the left is white with black print, “SERIGRAPHY BY SALTIEL” (followed by description of serigraph process) Bottom half of label reads, “ CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY This document certifies that the original serigraph titled : Exclusive Edition, ASAC Winter Retreat, Lake Louise is number A/P #4 of titled, signed and numbered serigraphs in an edition of only 50 plus 13 artist’s proofs. 7 colours have been used to create this image, printed on 100% cotton rag Stonehenge paper. Upon completion the screen is destroyed. - (a,b) a pair of black leather ski touring boots and a metal carrier; the boots have metal hooks for lace-up with brown leather laces; boots are over ankle, are thick soled, layered leather sole 3.30cm at heel, grooved at heel for cable, with layered sole sewn on and rubber sole glued on, heel nailed on; unlined boot with a grey leather-lined inside liner with light blue faux leather (3.0cm) sewn on the top edge, foam underneath, and unlined tongue; there is also a narrow piece of blue leather at the top edge of the boots. There is a screwed-on metal toe plate and heel plate. On the inside edge of the layered sole 7.0cm from the heel a number “10” is carved. Inside the liner, right ankles stamped “MED” in red ink and on the left ankle a mountain (could be the logo), “ZIRI” “MADE IN YUGOSLAVIA” all stamped in red ink; it was also on the the left boot but is mostly worn off and is indiscernible.(c)The metal carrier is 40.0cm high and 16.0 wide with handle extended. The boots fit within two clamps and there is a handle for carrying. Engraved on both sides under the handle “TYROL” “BOOT PRESS”, “PAT PEND.”, “MADE IN CANADA”.
