One end of the probe has a lighter silver knob with tap near it. The other end has a brass-coloured metal end. The orange leather pouch features text along the middle on one side which reads “Lindenmann Lawinen-Sonde” and text at the top of the pouch which reads “SCOTT” in handwriting.

The print is comprised of seven colours, a palette of soft blue, white, green and brown/yellow. Across the bottom is an artist inscription and title of the work. The artist signature is in the bottom right corner. Au verso there are two large labels.
