- File consists of 10 photographic prints, (9 mounted and 1 loose, 8 b&w and 2 colour). Content includes multiple Canadian scenic photographs, (ships, winter scenes, landscapes), a gag photo of Nicholas Morant and another unidentified man titled 'Onions', a view of a village, possibly in Peru, depicting a person with a donkey travelling down a dirt road, and a gag photo of Morant wearing glasses and a hat (with caption "The Author (as a young man)" written on the back). Many of the prints in this file were taken early in Nicholas Morant's career (ca. 1936 - 1940), and most are dated and signed by Morant. One attributed to 'Associated Screen News', creator unknown.

- Some of these photographs may have been published and used for professional purposes following their creation. However, the specific copies of the photographs contained within this file were used by Nicholas Morant for personal display, and therefore have been categorized as personal photography. Each print within this file was originally framed, and recently removed due to storage and conservation reasons. - File consists of 34 photograph and postcard prints pertaining to friends of Norman Luxton and the Luxton family which were sent to Norman Luxton. Most photographs are annotated on the back with contextual information [dates, locations, names, etc] for photographs, some items include personal messages written to Norman Luxton. Photograph images pertain to a fishing trip in Grande Prairie; men in military uniforms during World War II, including some taken during active duty in England; personal and group portraits; a war monument in Verdun, France; historic ships and boats; scenic views of Mistaya Canyon and Minnewanka; wildlife, including birds and a marten; and family pets.

Topics include day to day life, Banff events, visitis from friends, photography, painting, weather, events and people in Concord, radio programs, installing electrical outlets in the living room, trips to Bow Lake, Banff Indian Days [including having David and Peggy (Rider) Bearspaw stay the night with Peter and Catharine during a bad storm], the Jasper Park Lodge burning down [July 15], the funeral for John Murray Gibbon, camping/sketching trips to Yoho National Park, several visits by Rockwell and Betty Kent, and leaving for a road trip to Concord for Christmas [Peter and Catharine left in late October and drove to Massachusetts]. Also includes an airmail card.

See S37 / 73 for actual recording 131 - 08 appears to have been cut 3/4 up the page prior to accession.

Topics include driving down through Idaho, Washington and Oregon to catch a boat from Los Angeles to Hawaii, time spent in San Francisco visiting with Belmore Browne, happenings on the ship [the SS President Wilson of American President Lines], arriving and first staying in Waikiki, moving to Waimanalo, visiting with friends, weather, Christmas cards, holiday activities, tropical food and flowers, radio programs, travelling around to different parts of Oahu, travel back to San Francisco by ship [the SS President Wilson again], driving from San Francisco to Golden, and boarding the train in Golden to Banff [the Jeep was shipped via train as well]. Also includes brochures for Hawaii hotels and a map of the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Brochures and map are not clearly attached to specific letters so are counted as their own entries.
