Written on the waistband, on both sides of the zipper, in black indelible ink “W36 -L32”.

- A pair of wool pants with two slash side pockets and two back horizontal pockets, on viewer’s right of fly, a small horizontal slash pocket at the waist, all pockets are heavy white cotton, front closure fly of five buttons on viewer’s right, five buttonholes on viewer’s left on the inside of the folded and sewn flap, six extra buttons around the waist to attach suspenders, a line of cotton twill reinforcing the back seam through the crotch to fly, metal snap closing, lined waistband of heavy white cotton, six belt loops; pants are not hemmed. The label on the waistband printed in red ink reads “CARSS 100% wool 601”.
