- Very complex looking tool with wooden saw like handle and a multitude of various adjustment screws, removable arms and moveable pieces. Main body of the plane extends from wooden handle and holds a flange of steel plate shaped like a sleigh runner which is the sole, with a slot to the left to accept changeable blades, and two holes through holding rods perpendicular to the body. The rods support a second adjustable sole, a depth gauge plate, and a moveable wooden fence, can be used either side of plane. A wooden handle to the side, attached to the fence arms is used to help support the plane when working. All are attached to the body of the plane by various rods and clamps, and are adjustable to the body by various rods and clamps, and are adjustable by thumbscrews, fingerscrews and rods which allow movement in virtually any direction. Blade in plane is straight edged 2.1 cm. wide.
