- A square lace cloth, composed of four large squares bearing representations of an Italian lady, a gentleman, a boy and a dog, and a rooster. Nine squares at the corners of the larger designs have representations of different types of birds. All of these designs are worked in filet lace and connected with fine cotton decorated with embroidery and drawn-work (Italian punto tirato). The entire cloth is bordered with filet lace bearing representations of a flower, a bird, and a dog in a repeating pattern.
