- Description
- A woman's dress of light buckskin with a very heavily beaded yoke of beaded canvas sewn at the waist to the buckskin skirt. The arms are similarly all heavily beaded canvas. Fringed skirt, also fringed at side seams and along waistline, tunic portion is open. White ground of beads is decorated with central squares of gold, blue and red and stepped square diagonals ray out from it, stepped square diamonds on either side. Yoke and shoulders decorated with vermilion and green squares. Skirt has thong fringes hanging from leather rosettes.
