- Description
- A pair of high gauntleted gloves made of buckskin. Hand bodies cut from a single piece of leather and insets on fingers, machine sewn with purple thread, inset thumb. Glove back is decorated with a stylized leaf pattern in blue, vermilion and green. Deep gauntlets are of buckskin and long fringes on the outside edges, again machine sewn with purple thread, and bearing a pattern of stylized leaves and flowers. Leaves in red with white borders and tulip like flowers in vermilion with light blue and green, all of them emerging from a clustered flower like pattern in orange, yellow, blue, and green. Lining is a pinstriped blue cotton. Top edge of gauntlets is embroidered in zigzags of rose and purple.
