- Description
- Two identical mountain guide pins except one is smaller. The smaller one measures 1 7/8 c. in diameter and is 1 cm. high. The circular pins have a centred stylized maple leaf in silver with a red outline and black lettering “ACMG” in the middle. The maple leaf sits on top of a crossed ice axe (lhs) and (rhs) a crossed pair of ski tips. The top and bottom of the skis and ice axe meet a coiled rope wound around three times on the outside rim of the pin, on top of which “ASSOCIATION OF CANADIAN MOUNTAIN GUIDES” is printed. The larger pin (a) has a horizontal hinged pin soldered to the top of the back side. This pin has a swivel-locking safety catch. The back of the smaller pin (b) has a tie-tack style clutch closure attachment.
