- A saber with a slightly curved, hardened steel, blade and a brass hilt with an ivory grip. The hilt has a knuckle bow. The blade has brass inlay. There is a Latin inscription on the blade which in not totally distinguishable - it may be “E pluribus unum” (From many one).
