- Long narrow bayonet with four edges, cross-section shape of cross, tapering to point. Base of bayonet formed into elbow which is joined to metal tube to fit over barrel of rifle. Spiral slit in tube fits over sight on rifle and twists to secure bayonet in place, metal clamp on tube to tighten.
