- Flat based, black cast iron water kettle with long curved spout and one piece handle riveted to rounded shoulder of pot. Handle curves up to horizontal bar grip, domed and knobbed lid rests inside circular rim, enamel lid and pot interior. Underside spout has corrosion holes, therefore is non functional until repaired. "L" inside diamond stamped on bottom, also "no. 1 6 1/2 PINTS".
