- Description
- A pair of maracas made from dried gourds painted black with the British flag painted on the natural coloured background in a circle at the front. Wooden handles attach to the gourds by passing through the centre and emerging slightly at the top. Pencil guidelines for the painted design can be seen on the gourds. One maraca (a) has “Nassau” carved on the back, and the other (b) has “Bahamas” carved on the back.
