- A square of soft leather with a gently scalloped edge. The case is decorated with a drawing of a lyre with a scroll of music and flowers at each corner. The sheet music is placed on the opened leather square, and then the case and sheet are rolled into a cylinder and secured by a strap and buckle at the middle of the square. There are two double slits in the leather between the strap and buckle.
