- Description
- A Kodak darkroom matting easel that can accommodate paper up to 11x14” in size. Darkroom easels [also called darkroom frames] are used during development to enlarge photographs - they hold the paper flat under the adjustable metal frame and keep the paper properly framed. The easel consists of a wooden base with a raised metal frame around the perimeter - along two sides are wider metal pieces with ruler marks along them. Overlapping in the middle of the board are two adjustable metal pieces that lie flat against the wood. On the left-hand short side is a short metal arm with a spring that can be hooked onto the frame to lift it off the board.
